Includes PR tools and templates such as videos, brochures, buttons, posters and more.  Also contains resources and examples from libraries across the United States that have implemented recruitment ideas (like open houses, career days, and web sites) successfully in the past.

Recruiting Librarians: The Time is Now
Provides resources to assist organizations in library recruitment.  Documents, such as a power point presentation and sample press releases, are available via links on the site.  Buttons, bookmarks, and brochures can be ordered through the CJRLC office.

Institution of Museum and Library Services
Offers information about the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian, a grant that supplies money for librarian recruitment, research, and professional development among other things.  Specifics about the grant are presented on the page, as well as contact information, and links to forms and PDF versions of grant guidelines.

Job Shadow Day Planning Notebook
Outlines activities, questions, suggestions, and schedules for a successful librarian job shadow day.  Notebook is in PDF format and can be printed for use by the teacher, librarian, and students involved in the experience.
