Take a look at the SAA Conference Program and make plans to travel to the Windy City for the 1997 Conference.

Richard Groening won the Wienefeld award from the USC History Department for Best Student Paper for his work, "Diplomatic and the Eighteenth-Century Plat: New Uses for an Old Science." Richard also presented this paper, at the USC Graduate Student Day on April 4, 1997. He has also presented his research in this area at the Lowcountry in the Atlantic World Conference in Charleston, SC in May of 1996 and the SAA Conference held in San Diego in August of 1996. Congratulations to Richard for the great work! |
