Meet at the South Carolina State Library, then parade to the State
House. (1500 Senate Street, Columbia).

This statewide celebration of reading is an exciting
opportunity for students, librarians, parents and other literacy
supporters to demonstrate the importance of reading and the need
for library services in our communities. Participants
must register by Monday, March 19th.

Augusta Baker's Dozen

Baker's Dozen featured guest, Brenda Wong Aoki. A writer, performer
and recording artist, her work blends Japanese traditional theatre
with contemporary storytelling.

present panel discussions and presentations on a
variety of popular genres and literary topics — from the
latest trends in new fiction to regional favorites to outstanding
poetry performances. Participants will even have a chance to
ask the authors questions and to get books autographed
after the presentations.
