Doctoral student is member of award-winning team

Congratulations to Yao (Emma) Zhang, one of our Ph.D. students who attended the annual conference of the American Society for Information Science and Technology and came back a winner!

Emma was a member of a collaborative team of students who won the 2012 ASIS&T Student Design Award for their project "Real Review from Real Customers."

The competition was held during the ASIS&T Conference on Oct. 26-30 in Baltimore. The conference is the primary venue for disseminating research centered on advances in the information sciences and related applications of information technology.

Other members of her design team were from the Pratt Institute and the University of Missouri.
