ne mapBuilding on the experience gained in offering 3 cohorts of graduates in Maine since 1993, SLIS announces plans for establishing a new cohort in Maine and for expanding it into a New England regional cohort.

The program is proposed to begin in the the Fall semester of 2009. Beginning students my also be admitted to the cohort in the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters of 2010.Classes will be presented as an interactive online program utilizing a variety of technologies.

Students admitted to this program will have several onsite experiences at a locations(s) in the region. These experiences include, but are not limited to, a beginning orientation, state association meetings, interim onsite for porfolio preparation, and graduation celebration.

The cost is the same per credit hour for a current instate USC student plus $100. Currently the instate rate per credit hour is $484.00. The course cost to students in the New England cohort would currently be $584.00 per credit hour. Course are 3 credit hours. The program consists of 36 semester hours.
