The Davis College building houses of the College of Library
and Information Science at the University of South Carolina. Constructed in
1909, the building was renovated and modernized in 1983.

the renovation process, CLIS operated out of the Booker T. Washington
High School and continued to offer Master's and Specialist degrees.
