The School of Library and Information Science offers the Ph.D. in Library and Information Science, the Master of Library and Information Science degree, and two programs of advanced study beyond the master's degree: the Certificate of Graduate Study in Library and Information Science and the Specialist in Library and Information Science degree. In addition, the school offers the Certificate of Graduate Study in Health Communication in cooperation with the Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior (of the Arnold School of Public Health) and the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Joint master's degrees are offered in conjunction with the English department and with the Public History Program.
