Some Poems by Linda
Old Oaks in Winter Arthritic roots with
swollen joints,
warm in mossy
velvet socks.
Kittens A wreath of kittens, intertwined,
wash each other, purring in the sun.
One At dawn
golden blade splits sea from sky.
Sparks fly out across the water.
Blizzard Snowflakes race
with raging wind,
slam into earth's swaying, creviced havens.
