Fred Roper received his PhD. in Library Science at Indiana University. He is a Fellow of the Special Library Association, immediate Past-President of the Medical Library Association, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for Library and Information Science Education. Dean Roper teaches health sciences librarianship and information resources and services. He is co-author of Introduction to References Sources in Health Sciences, and his research is in the areas of health sciences librarianship and trade bibliography.
