Kim Shealy Jeffcoat

A native of Lexington, SC, Kim received a BA from Wofford College and a Masters in Library and Information Science from USC. Currently, she is Executive Director of the South Carolina Center for Children’s Books and Literacy.

The Center (also known as SCCCBL) is a resource and research center for students, teachers and librarians across the state as well as the home of Cocky's Reading Express, USC's award-winning literacy outreach program.

Kim and her husband, Michael, have three children.
