  • Victor Engel's No Dither Netscape Color Palette - Describes how to design web graphics for computers that use only 256 colors.
  • Web Safe Colors - O'Reilly - The 216 non-dithering colors of the Web Safe Palette with RGB values in decimal and hex.

  • HYPE's Text Color Specifier - The 16 color names that should be recognized by all browsers.
  • Web Color Names - O'Reilly - The 140 web colors. Displayed alphabetically with RGB values in decimal and hex.

  • Favorites Icons - HTMLSource: HTML Tutorials  Red Check Mark (Browse) The author of this site is a graduate student from Ireland. While the information is sound, his language has some "attitude." I have used the site because it is well organized and has good clear explanations. These instructions were used for the Favicon Example.
