Country Reports on Human Rights Practices - The U.S. State Department 's site assessing other countries' adherence to the United Nations human rights laws.

Death Penalty Information Center - News, debate, and information on the US death penalty.

Human Rights Research and Education Centre - Resources compiled by the University of Ottawa. Includes the Human Rights Bibliography, a database of 18,000 Canadian and international documents, which requires a fee to access.

Not listed in your text but a great site nonetheless is Amnesty International.   I'm not sure why it was omitted but there is crucial information pertaining to human rights on this web site. The URL is www.amnesty.org.
