Non-traditional Jobs and Your Career
Jack Bryan, Retired, Director of Administration, SC Attorney General's Office

A scarcity of jobs, some blogs full of comments about poor job satisfaction, and here you are with a graduate degree in a stagnant economy.  Hear from a Davis grad who retired from a challenging and satisfying 31 year career that included less than 12 months of formal library employment and the hiring of four other MLS students or grads.  Be introspective about your education, experience and motivation to see potential jobs and make you the outstanding applicant.  This isn't a typical library school and your job search need not be limited to the typical library jobs.
Time: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Registration Fee:  $50.00
Location:  Davis College, USC, Columbia Campus
