Because the funding for the project was fairly small, the task of identifying all of the pioneering individuals and organizations in information science in North America has only begun. SIG/HFIS needs your help in the continuation of this work. This web page has been constructed so that you can see what has been done thus far and to help us as we continue the work.

We are interested in receiving from you any information that you will help us. We are particularly interested in knowing:
1). what additional individuals or organizations you think should be added to the listings given below
2). any additional biographical information (or a citation to it if it is published) on these currently listed individuals and organizations
3). corrections or additions to the information listed here
4). information regarding the papers/archives of any of these individuals or organizations
