WOMMED/FEMMED:
The WomMed/ FemMed Network brings together women and men from around the
world who are working together to redress gender-imbalance in access to
expression and decision-making in the media, reaffirming the importance
of fluid and pluralistic communication for women’s full participation in
society and promoting all forms of democratic communication.
ALAI's
Women's Program is a regional communications initiative serving women's
and feminist movements in Latin America and the Caribbean. This Web site
gathers documentary material on gender issues.
Priority
Women: In November 1995, UNESCO’s Member States decided once again to consider
women, as well as youth, Africa and least-developed countries as priority
groups for all of the Organization’s activities.
