FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE (FWS)  Its mission is to conserve, protect, and enhance fish and wildlife and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. Major responsibilities are: migratory birds, endangered species, freshwater and anadromous fish, the National Wildlife Refuge System, wetlands, conserving habitat, environmental contaminants.
