office
The Australian Taxation Office is the federal government’s main
revenue collection agency. Their aim is to manage and shape the
revenue systems that sustain social and economic policy and fund
services for Australians. The office main role is to administer
legislation for taxes, superannuation and excise (but not customs
duty). The site addresses broader issues affecting Australia’s revenue
systems, such as aggressive tax planning, persistent tax debtors,
