Government Information:
The following information
lists links to U.S. Government Agencies which are concerned with some aspect
of health and the law. Depending on the subject matter and currency
one can find many items of interest which can be helpful in researching
a topic in this field.
Department
of Health and Human Services - is the United States government's principal
agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential
human services. The following agencies are all branches of the department.
Department
of Labor - One of the main tenants of the department is to insure the
adequacy of working conditions in the U.S. The following agencies
help enforce this mandate and are therefore indirectly related to health
law.

State
Information:

state codes of the corresponding states. Not all states are included
in this list because some states do not have an online code available.
Some codes are listed on commercial sites and are not the official online
code of the indicated state.
International Information:

World Health
Organization - This specialized agency of the United Nations only indirectly
effects world health laws but it helps set international standards for
health and collates world health statistics.
