COUNTIES WITHIN THE ATLANTA AREA

 COBB COUNTY
Cobb County is one of the nations premier counties and one of the fastest growing in the country.  Their web site has links to local government agencies and departments as well as information on local infrastructure.

•  SMYRNA

Smyrna is located northeast of Atlanta in Cobb County.  Smyrna's has an interesting web site with links to education, public safety, community involvement as well as other good links.

•  DECATUR

The City of Decatur, the county seat of DeKalb County, is celebrating its 175th birthday this year.  Their web site includes links to City Services, Business Information, Events, About Decatur, and others.

•  ATLANTA

Atlanta is the state capitol and the county seat of Fulton County.  Atlanta's web site offers links to News Releases, City Council, Employment Opportunities, and City Ordinances among others.

•  EAST POINT

East Point is located to the southwest of Atlanta.  East Point's web site has links to information on the local industry, and the mayor and city council members
 
• ROSWELL

Located north of Atlanta, Roswell is a fast growing area with a blend of old and new.  Their web site offers links to City Departments, a City Directory, and City Calendar.

•  CENTERVILLE

"Where everybody knows everybody", Centerville is a small town with a really big web site.  In addition to local government information, they have links to fall festivals, yard sales, flea markets, homeowner's associations and what is playing at the local movie theaters.

• DULUTH

Duluth's web site has links to the City Council, City Administation, Planning and Development, Public Works, and Police Department among others.

• NORCROSS

The web site for Norcross offers links to city and county government as well as links to state and federal government information, such as the National League of Cities  and Georgia Net Authority Legislative Services .  Norcross also offers a list of elected officials and city officials.

• SNELLVILLE

"Where everybody is somebody", Snellville is located east of Stone Mountain.  Snellville's web site has something for everbody including links to Recreation and Parks, Recorder's Court, Sanitation and Recycling, as well as City Council.

• PEACHTREE CITY

Peachtree City is unique in that it is one of the nation's first completely planned communities.  Their web site offers links to local government, recreation, and local libraries.

 AUGUSTA
Augusta's stylish web site offers links on the history of the area as well as links to the commission board members, the mayor, Fort Gordon military base, the Chamber of Commerce and others.  Also check out the link to the  Augusta National Golf Course .

 COLUMBUS
The official web site of Columbus authorized by the mayor and city council.  This web site has links to Business Information, Night Life, Churches, Medical Facilities as well as government information.  The Uptown Columbus link has information about the downtown revitalization and transformation happening in Columbus.

 SAVANNAH
Savannah's web site offers a "Citizen's Guide To Government" with links to the City Council, City Organizations, City Services and Employment Opportunities.  Other links connect to the Police Department, the Civic Center, and the Savannah Morning News.

 LAGRANGE
LaGrange is located 60 miles southwest of Atlanta and is the home of Callaway Gardens.  LaGrange has a well organized web site with links to public utilities, business and industry in the area, and tourism and events to name a few.

 DAHLONEGA
Located north of Atlanta in the North Georgia Mountains, Dahlonega is the home of North Georgia College.  Dahlonega's web site has links to City Information including utilities and police department numbers, local city council meetings and agendas, and city commissions including historic preservation, and planning and zoning.
