Virginia Wallace
Clinical Instructor

Virginia received her doctorate in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University and her MLIS from the University of South Carolina. Her job history includes mentoring for the MLIS distance education program, serving as a school library media specialist in both South Carolina and Virginia, providing information management and systems training for KEMET Electronics, owning a bookstore, and teaching English.

Virginia authored the book School News Shows: Video Production with a Focus and has had articles published in The Book Report, School Library Media Activities Monthly, and School Librarian’s Workshop.

In 1993-94, the South Carolina Association of Educational Communication and Technology named Dr. Wallace “Media Specialist of the Year.” She also has been a library delegate to Russia and Poland.

For 2005-2007, Virginia will serve as Director of Region IV (KY, TN, SC, NC, WV, VA) on the AASL Board.
