SLIS Adjunct Instructors
Mr. Bill Sudduth

Bill Sudduth is Department Head for the Government Information, Microforms, and Newspapers and Maps Departments of USC’s Thomas Cooper Library. He received is MS in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. Prior to coming to USC in 1999, Bill served as a Technical Services/Government Documents Librarian at Williams College (1985-1990) and Reference Librarian/Coordinator of Government Information at the University of Richmond (1990-1999). He is currently a member of the Depository Library Council, an advisory body to the Public Printer of the United States and the Government Printing Office. Bill was Chair of the American Library Association’s Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) from 2002-2003 and has served as chair of SCLA-GODORT and Virginia Library Association’s Public Documents Forum. Prior to being an adjunct for SLIS he served as an adjunct on the School of Library and Information Science of the Catholic University of America. In addition to government information sources, services, and access issues Bill has interests in survey research, customer service, and building use analysis.
