The African American Leadership Group, a volunteer group composed of
practicing library professionals, met with current African American
students at the School of Library and Information Science on Friday,
November 11, to discuss the topic of mentoring. The participants
discussed various ways to develop the mentor/mentee relationships that will help the
students be successful during their time in library school and during
their entry into the professional world.
